Elegance of a Diamond Necklace

  • Posted on April 30, 2009 at 7:44 am

Although many clasps today are an integral part of the design of the necklace, many other necklaces rely upon what are called “commercial findings” to secure the necklace to the clasp.

If you are looking forward to buy a diamond solitaire necklace, diamond pendant necklace, or any similar piece of jewelry, you might want to learn more about what you are trying to buy before you spend your money on any jewelry piece. It pays to be extra cautious when shopping for diamonds, since they are expensive items.

A issue arises when the wearer has problems putting a necklace on and taking it off. Repeated attempts to put on the necklace can result in pulling on it, thereby weakening its structure and increasing the risk of tearing the tread and breaking the necklace.

Looking for a good diamond solitaire necklace is much easier and even more fun if you do transactions with a trustworthy company with a good reputation for both quality and service. Such companies are usually the best sources for shopping for a diamond solitaire necklace. Of course, there are other shops as well.

As mentioned, there is absolutely nothing wrong with commercial clasps. They tend to be inexpensive and their style is classic.

There is nothing wrong with commercial findings. Often they are bought in multiples by jewelers who use them to string necklaces, primarily pearls. They are generally much less expensive than one-of-a-kind clasps. And their style is classic.

There is this thing that most diamond connoisseurs call the four Cs of diamonds: cut, clarity, color, and carat. When it comes to diamonds, the issue will always be about any or all of those four factors in diamond quality and value. Since diamonds are aesthetic objects, these four factors count a lot. All of these four factors are equally crucial to the quality of a diamond.

The major issue most people have with these two types of commercial clasps is that they tend to be small. This is a particular consideration for older women who many have difficulty manipulating the small components of these clasps.

the quality of Tiffany

It didn’t take long for the customers and the press to dub Tiffany the “King of Diamonds.” With the assistance of John B. Young, the Tiffany & Young store opened on Broadway in New York in 1837. At first offering fine stationary and fancy goods of different types, the quality shop became Tiffany & Co. a few years into its existence. Customers began to notice, and buy, amazing jewelry pieces created from silver in these early years.

Rhodium-plating is one extremely important factor to consider when weeding out Tiffany Style Jewelry.  Rhodium-plating became popular when Tiffany & Co. began using it on all its sterling silver.  Rhodium-plating is basically the process of coating the silver with a thin, clear, protective layer.  Rhodium-plating contributes to the shininess of Tiffany pieces, and the reflectivity.  Not to mention the fact that this special plating process will help your sterling silver to last a long time and will also protect it from nicks and scratches.

Because of the craftsmanship that was obvious in the pieces, even the general public became aware of the store. Today, 170 years later, many of the Tiffany products from the first decades Tiffany was in business are prized collectibles with a value far beyond their original purchase price. Some of these pieces are still kept in their original boxes, a light blue container that was recognized among jewelry enthusiasts. This color is still used for Tiffany & Co. packaging in the 21st century.

the Tiffany’s products

As a male and a big fan of the American women I can tell you that there is one undeniable fact. American women love Tiffany and Co. it doesn’t matter who she is or where she came from, or how her tastes differ, just the sight of a Tiffany and Co. box is all that is necessary to make her heart flutter.

The products from this company have been associated with royal families like the Vanderbilt, the Astors and the Morgans. This just tells you how rich the products stocked in this store are in terms of quality and appeal. So the next time you think of buying some diamond items, please take your time to visit this store and you will not regret your decision. You may just walk away with an item that you will treasure for the rest of your life for a price that you could never have imagined possible.

Even if your girlfriend isn’t what you’d call ‘high maintenainance’, presenting her with a special gift from Tiffany and Co. goal a long way in impressing her and is a sign that you’re willing to go the extra mile and put some effort into your relationship, which is something all women appreciate, assuming they are likewise interested in you of course. It’s evolution, and they can’t help it any more than we men can help staring at their breasts; or at least wanting to.

The famous manufacturer

Tiffany and Co. was made famous by that classic Hollywood 1961 production, Breakfast at Tiffany’s with Audrey Hepburn playing the role of a young woman somewhat obsessed with Tiffany and Co.

Tiffany co. has entered into an agreement with Tahera Diamond company which is a supplier of diamonds. as Tiffany markets the diamond produced by Tahera around Jericho diamond mine, it benefits by getting beautifully cut an finely polished diamonds in return from Tahera. This ensures that high standards are maintained and that client expectations are met.

Of course, the movie isn’t really about her love of Tiffany’s, but does provide further proof for my theory that American women love Tiffany and Co. it’s a pretty good movie should check that, and if you have the money check out something from Tiffany’s for your special girl.

Just like the fake Fendi purses featured in Sex and the City, ladies all around are seeking out faux Tiffany & Co. baubles like it was their job!  The obvious reason would be because you can purchase pretty much the exact same pieces that Tiffany’s features, with the exact same design, for approximately 1/16th the price of Tiffany & Co. jewelry.  However, when scoping out these designer duds, it is important to look for some very important things.

Tiffany and Co.

That ladies and gentlemen, is what is called branding. They did a fantastic job. As America’s most high-end jewelry store, Tiffany and Co. provides people with the highest quality jewelry and the satisfaction of knowing they got something from the best store available.

Tiffany and Co. is such a well-planned and named it the whole world knows who they are, even in those locations in where there are no stores. Tiffany co. is a jewelry store that was opened up in 1837 and up to date its the most reputed jewelry store that stocks not only diamond jewelry but many other products too like silver items. tableware, gifts and other accessories. The main product though is the diamond jewelry.

Their little blue boxes are like Cupid’s arrow that easily pierce a woman’s heart. Or maybe it’s just the money that’s impressive, who knows. You can’t really get anything from Tiffany and Co. without breaking the bank and putting a dent in your credit card, but heck, I’m a sucker when I’m in love. Even some basic simple silver items run two or three times more than their retail value in any other local jewelry store, but once again it’s that Tiffany name that really catches the eye and for that he must pay up.

free is fake?

Free, a word, has always been a very powerful word that many marketers use in their marketing campaigns. Tell me of anyone who does not like to receive stuff for free and I’ll tell you of how many times that word have failed. That is right. None. None has ever ignored a marketing material, even heavy booklet printing materials that has the word ‘free’ in it.

The producers do not like their products free, but not the willing of the consumers. To pursue free, the word fake come out gradually.

All leading companies have vast overheads in the form of staff and office along with their advertisement expenditures. The small-scale industry that manufacturers these designer fake watches do not have such expenses and can thus offer their clientele their designer fake watches at down to earth rates. This apart, they do not have any advertising costs. Most of their advertising is done by word of mouth itself.

Even consumers with high-paying jobs get excited when they receive free stuff during events. Why do you think Hollywood stars try to attend as many functions as possible? In addition to the blitz and coverage, they do get a lot of free stuff from major manufacturers and companies.

The most luxury material

In the early days, gold was just yellow. But today when you see yellow gold, it is mostly for rings and pendants that are either old, or for flashy designs. The metal of choice for engagement rings and wedding rings alike has become white gold. But then, there is one small tragedy which comes in when you wear white gold. It bears an uncanny resemblance to sterling silver! So, if you are the kind to show off, wearing a ring that resembles silver does not augment well! With modern technology, it is also possible to create gold in a few other colors, but that is stuff for another article!

Going back in time, the name Platinum is derived from Spanish – from the phrase ‘Platina del Pinto’, which can be translated as ‘little silver of the Pinto river’. That is where the metal was first found, and hence the name stuck. Platinum started becoming very popular in the 18th century, when King Louis XV of France declared it to be the only metal fit for a king’s jewelry, as it was so rare!

Platinum a magnificent silvery-white when pure metal, holds the leading position in list of noble metals, along with silver, gold, and bronze. Platinum is a rare metal with unique level of features and qualities that add more reasons for this already precious metal to be a rarer and exclusive metal, ideal for making high quality special jewellery products.

Platinum, as we are aware, is one of the rarest metals to be found in the earth, and is valued to be much higher than even gold – which is considered to be the standard of valuation all over the world.

History of Platinum

Naturally-occurring platinum and platinum-rich alloys have been known for a long time. Though the metal was used by pre-Columbian Native Americans, the first European reference to platinum appears in 1557 in the writings of notable Italian humanist Julius Caesar Scaliger as a description of a mysterious metal found in Central American mines between Panama and Mexico. The word platinum comes from the Spanish word platina, meaning “little silver.”

South Africa has maximum reserves of Platinum producing almost 80% of world’s total Platinum. Russia and Canada are other leading producers of Platinum. Platinum is an extremely rare metal around 30 times more rarer than Gold.
