10. The Tiffany Blue Box®, an international symbol of quality, and certain sign that whatever it contains will be the best gift of the season. Tiffany’s very own blue box has, in fact, become so well known over the years that it’s become its own color (”Tiffany Blue”). Of course, it’s just an expensive take on teal, but that’s beside the point. Tiffany has done an excellent job at creating an experience.

Tiffany Gift Kits I

  • Posted on July 21, 2009 at 3:06 am

Recently, I heard the news Tiffany selected ten perfect gifts, wrapped in Tiffany Blue®. Each is a must-have on someone’s list. From famous jewelry icons and colorful gemstones to holiday mementos, the collection shines with a heritage of quality and legendary style that was established with Tiffany’s founding in 1837. Let’s have a detail look.

1. Tiffany revived the rose cut, an early style of gemstone cutting inspired by the petals of an opening rosebud. The rose-cut diamonds are combined with round brilliant-cut diamonds in earrings ($5,000) that capture the beauty of freshly-picked blossoms

2. Tiffany celebrates the classic elegance of black and white. This enamel bracelet with a lacelike diamond and platinum overlay and 18 karat gold lining ($90,000) recalls the Victorian era; and the black onyx and diamond open circle earrings ($12,000) and teardrop earrings ($20,000) in platinum reflect the Art Deco period.

3. The Tiffany Keys Collection is inspired by keys in the Tiffany archives. Each is a keepsake, innately chic, to wear alone or layered. Choose from the heart key charm of 18 karat rose gold ($250) or the heart locket key of yellow gold ($500). Options in 18 karat white gold encrusted with diamonds include the Frame key with black enamel finish ($2,250), checkerboard key with blue enamel finish ($2,000), and octagon key with blue and green enamel finish ($2,250).

4. Tiffany’s heritage as a premier watchmaker can be traced through a timeline of innovations that extends from the jeweler’s founding in 1837 to the latest Tiffany timepiece: an oval-shaped cocktail watch of diamonds and 18 karat white gold ($12,600) that keeps time with dazzling precision.

5. The tourmaline’s green spectrum is fully expressed in a luxurious, opera-length necklace of oval and round stones. Tiffany jewelers capture every hue from luscious green to brilliant blue, accented with diamonds, in platinum, to wrap and wear with ease, ($85,000).

About Pearls Jewelry

  • Posted on July 16, 2009 at 2:12 am

200907161-1Symbols of perfection, pearls are the most classic of gems, bringing an air of elegance and sophistication to the women who wear them. The pearl is a naturally perfect jewel that requires no cutting or polishing, and no other gemstone matches its legacy of mystery and romance. As early as 3500 B.C., Middle Eastern and Asian societies treasured pearls as symbols of purity and feminine charm. In 19th century Europe, pearls were the favorite of royalty who valued them above all other gems. American women, too, were enamored of the pearl’s opalescent splendor. No name in fine jewelry says “classic” more than Tiffany & Co., Tiffany Pearls is lavishly illustrated with archival photographs, portraits of illustrious pearl lovers through the centuries (including Queen Elizabeth I; Catherine de Medici; Mary, Queen of Scots; and Mary Todd Lincoln), sketches and drawings of Tiffany’s signature designs, and photographs of their spectacular antique and contemporary pearl pieces. In addition, celebrities from Audrey Hepburn to Elizabeth Taylor, Christy Turlington, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Jessica Parker are pictured decked out in lavish Tiffany pearls.

Tiffany Colorful Gemstones

  • Posted on July 14, 2009 at 6:13 am

200907141efbc8d1Colored gemstones is said to be a centerpiece of Tiffany’s jewelry collections, which played a major part in establishing Tiffany as a world-renowned jeweler. These radiant gemstones are a measure of nature’s magic. Sparkling in exquisite Tiffany jewels, they are an ultimate gauge of glamour and style.

If you are enough attentive, you must have found that all Tiffany great designers have a special affection to the gemstones. Say the most familiar designer Jean Schlumberger, he utilizes a dynamic color mix to create ravishing flowers, birds, and mythical creatures. His unexpected combinations-emeralds, amethysts, yellow and blue sapphires in the magnificent Phoenix clip, for example-along with a strong sculptural quality, spark a new experience of nature’s fantastic color scheme.

Also the creative designer Paloma Picasso, one of the world’s premier designers, is celebrated for jewelry of impressive magnitude and sophistication. Favored by fashion-conscious women everywhere, the designer highlights looks in all seasons with generously scaled gemstones. Her bold ring designs underscore the unique identity of bright pink and chrome green tourmalines, lustrous tanzanites and sky-blue aquamarines.

In Tiffany House, we can say each color is a classic expression of fashion, presented with the utmost quality and craftsmanship that have distinguished Tiffany & Co. for over eight generations.

Recently, Links of London introduce two very different collections of cufflinks to their ever expanding range of jewellery and accessories for men.

The first is the Mechanical collection, features cufflinks that have been inspired by the design of car engines and motor components and include rotating metallic discs with screw detailing. This make the collection confidently masculine in their appearance with designs. This collection are designed to recall the design details of the Driver range – men’s watches launched in 2007. Engine turned “watch lugs” recall the classic feel of driving watches whilst creating an unusual yet timeless pair of designer cufflinks.

The second is Menagerie collection, consists of designs based on unique perspectives on a variety of animals, it brings the element of fun by presenting animals and creatures in ways that you might not expect! You can find the well known hare and tortoise, a “Hot Dog” (with a dash of mustard!) as well as a large sea shell that appears to be harbouring the illustrious Titanic, also it includes a fresh and light hearted take on the famous salmon cufflinks that founded the Links of London brand in 1990.
