Tiffany and Co.

That ladies and gentlemen, is what is called branding. They did a fantastic job. As America’s most high-end jewelry store, Tiffany and Co. provides people with the highest quality jewelry and the satisfaction of knowing they got something from the best store available.

Tiffany and Co. is such a well-planned and named it the whole world knows who they are, even in those locations in where there are no stores. Tiffany co. is a jewelry store that was opened up in 1837 and up to date its the most reputed jewelry store that stocks not only diamond jewelry but many other products too like silver items. tableware, gifts and other accessories. The main product though is the diamond jewelry.

Their little blue boxes are like Cupid’s arrow that easily pierce a woman’s heart. Or maybe it’s just the money that’s impressive, who knows. You can’t really get anything from Tiffany and Co. without breaking the bank and putting a dent in your credit card, but heck, I’m a sucker when I’m in love. Even some basic simple silver items run two or three times more than their retail value in any other local jewelry store, but once again it’s that Tiffany name that really catches the eye and for that he must pay up.

Cartiers is a French jeweller and watch manufacturer. It is a subsidiary of Compagnie Financière Richemont SA. The corporation carries the name of the Cartier family of jewelers whose control ended in 1964 and who were known for numerous pieces including the “Bestiary” (best illustrated by the Panthère brooch of the 1940s created for Wallis Simpson), the diamond necklace created for Yadavindra Singh the Maharaja of Patiala and in 1904 the first practical wristwatch, the “Santos.” Cartier SA is headquartered in Paris.

The company has a long and distinguished history of serving royalty, as well as stars and celebities. One Prince of Wales hailed Cartier as “Joaillier des Rois, Roi des Joailliers” (Jeweller to Kings, King of Jewellers”). Cartier received an order for 27 tiaras for the coronation of the future King. King Edward VII was crowned in 1902 and in 1904 he honoured the Company with the Royal warrant of supplier to the Royal Court of England. Similar warrants soon followed from the courts of Spain, Portugal, Russia, Siam, Greece, Serbia, Belgium, Romania, Egypt and finally Albania, and also from the House of Orleans and the Principality of Monaco.
